Konrad Wisniewski serves as the Business Relationship Manager and Head of Corporate Citizenship for the North Carolina Department of Commerce, where he works with new and existing companies to develop projects focused on the Department’s three main Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities:

• Environmental Sustainability;
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Hiring;
• Work Based Learning.

Prior to his role at Commerce, Konrad led economic development efforts for the Belgian government in New York City, where he assisted Belgian companies with entry into the U.S. market and helped many American companies establish European headquarters. He also organized and led numerous international trade missions for the Belgian Royal family and became an expert in beer, chocolate, and waffles along the way.

Konrad is a graduate of Stony Brook University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and his Master’s Degree in Public Policy.
