le, NC - Governor Pat McCrory congratulated GE Aviation today at a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of the company’s new $125 million advanced composites factory near Asheville in Buncombe County.  GE is a global leader in jet engine and aircraft system production.
 
Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that BOSH Global Services will be expanding its operations in Cumberland County.  The company plans to create 32 new jobs and invest more than $400,000 over the next three years in Fayetteville.
 
“Our state has a proud history of working closely with companies like Bosh Global Services because we have an extremely talented pool of veterans and military personnel,” said Governor McCrory. “We’re excited that BOSH Global has decided to invest in North Carolina once again.”
 
  Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that a subsidiary of Teleflex Incorporated will be relocating its existing operations in the Research Triangle Park area to a new facility to be constructed in Morrisville, North Carolina.  The company plans to create 75 new jobs at the facility over the next three years.  Construction of the new facility and Teleflex’s lease commitment are expected to generate investment of more than $20 million over the next several years.
  Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that AW North Carolina, a manufacturer of automatic transmissions and transmission components, will expand production at its manufacturing facility in Durham County adding 56 new jobs. The company will also purchase a manufacturing facility in Granville County and create 85 new jobs there.
 
Combined, the two projects represent a new investment of $135 million in North Carolina.
 
IGH, N.C. — Secretary Sharon Decker signed an agreement today that transfers $100 million in state funds from the N.C. Rural Economic Development Center to the N.C. Department of Commerce, which will assume the management and oversight of 421 existing grants totaling in excess of $69 million. The grants provide assistance with building reuse and restoration, water and sewer infrastructure, and economic innovation in rural communities.
Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that HUBER+SUHNER, a manufacturer of components and system solutions for electrical and optical transportation of data and energy, will locate its North American headquarters in Mecklenburg County.  The company plans to create 50 jobs and invest more than $3 million in its new Charlotte facility.

The new Cary office co-locates GE’s engineering and product management with other critical functions under one roof. In addition, it creates a global headquarters for GE’s Power Components and Power Equipment businesses.
 
Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that Dr. Patricia Mitchell will become the Assistant Secretary for Rural Economic Development at the N.C. Department of Commerce. 
Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that Continental Automotive Systems, Inc. will expand its manufacturing facility in Henderson County.  The company plans to create 40 jobs and invest more than $35 million over the next five years in Fletcher, North Carolina.
Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today that Wright Foods will be expanding its food processing and packaging operation in Montgomery County.  The company plans to create 505 new jobs and invest $53 million over the next five years in Troy. Wright Foods currently employs more than 80 employees in North Carolina.
