From time to time, the NCWorks Commission considers and adopts certain major statewide policies for the workforce development system, in accordance with the federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Before the Commission considers adopting a policy statement, policy development experts at Commerce's Division of Workforce Solutions draft language for each policy, which we then post online to offer the public a period of time to submit comments about the proposed policy.
