, N.C. - Governor Pat McCrory, N.C. Commerce Secretary John E. Skvarla III and the Economic Development Partnership of N.C. announced today that Ecolab Inc. will expand its Kay Chemical Company operations in Greensboro and create 45 new jobs over the next three years.  The company plans to build a new 37,000 square foot office building and invest $10 million in Guilford County.  

, N.C. - North Carolina Industrial Commission Chairman Andrew T. Heath has announced the appointment of seven deputy commissioners.  Chairman Heath has appointed Lori W. Gaines, Melanie Wade Goodwin, Sumit Gupta, Robert Harris, Christopher Loutit, William “Bill” Shipley and Michael Silver.  All appointments are for six-year terms.  Deputy commissioners function as the Industrial Commission’s trial-level judges and hold hearings in contested workers’ compensation cases, state tort claims, and other matters. 

, N.C.-- North Carolina has awarded $205,000 to 26 employers across the state to help them invest in building the skills of their workers.  The NCWorks Incumbent Worker Training Grant program assists businesses with reimbursements for the cost of training programs, provided such services meet state requirements. Each business applies for a grant through its local workforce development board, which reviews the application and submits its recommendations for evaluation to the N.C. Division of Workforce Solutions. 

Raleigh, N.C. -  Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary John Skvarla along with the Economic Development Partnership of NC announced today that White Labs, Inc. is opening a new facility in Buncombe County.  The company plans to create 56 new jobs over the next three years and invest $8.1 million over the next five years in Buncombe County.  

North Carolina Commerce Secretary John Skvarla and Assistant Secretary for Rural Development Dr. Pat Mitchell announced today that the N.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) approved a building reuse grant of $500,000 for the city of Thomasville with the commitment of 40 new jobs. 

Raleigh, N.C. - Governor Pat McCrory, N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker and the Economic Development Partnership of N.C. announced today that Agility Fuel Systems is locating a regional headquarters and a state of the art production facility in Rowan County and will create 149 new jobs over the next three years. The company plans to invest $7.5 million in Salisbury.

North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker and Assistant Secretary for Rural Development Dr. Pat Mitchell announced today that the N.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) approved 13 grants or loans totaling more than $5.1 million with the commitment of 299 new jobs. 

IGH, N.C.---The North Carolina Department of Commerce announced today that the City of Shelby and the Town of Warrenton have been awarded up to $75,000 each from the Main Street Solutions Fund. “The North Carolina Main Street Center continues to work with communities throughout the state,” said Secretary of Commerce Sharon Decker. “Their dedication helps revitalize historic buildings and bring new jobs and more business in uptown Shelby and downtown Warrenton.”

Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina announced today that Tosaf USA, Inc. is planning to locate its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Gaston County, creating 75 jobs in five years and investing approximately $13.1 million over the next three years in Bessemer City.
