State Grants Assist Manufacturing Company with Expansion
Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that Unilever United States Inc., a manufacturer of personal care products, will expand its operations in Hoke County. The company plans to create 21 jobs and invest $29.9 million over the next three years in Raeford. The project was made possible in part by a $63,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
“My top priority is creating jobs,” said Gov. Perdue. “Our world-class workforce and strong business climate makes North Carolina an ideal place for manufacturers like Unilever to thrive and grow.”
