September Unemployment Rates Decrease in Most NC Counties

In September, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 99 of North Carolina's 100 counties.

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 99 of North Carolina's 100 counties in September. Fifty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.3 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.6 of a percentage point from the August revised unemployment rate. 

Unemployment rates decreased in all of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
