June Unemployment Rates Increase in Most NC Counties

In June, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 98 of North Carolina's 100 counties.

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 98 of North Carolina's 100 counties in June. Fifty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 4.1 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which increased 0.5 of a percentage point from the May revised unemployment rate. 

Unemployment rates increased in all of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
