NC’s January Unemployment Rate Decreases

<p>North Carolina&#39;s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased from December&rsquo;s benchmarked rate of 4.1 percent.</p>

North Carolina's unemployment rate at 3.9 percent declined from the benchmarked December rate of 4.1 percent. This is 0.1 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 4.0 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 4,100 in January to 4,660,200.
