NC’s September Unemployment Rate Decreases

<p>North Carolina&#39;s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased from August&rsquo;s revised rate of 4.3 percent.</p>

North Carolina's unemployment rate at 4.2 percent declined from the revised August rate of 4.3 percent. This is 0.6 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 4.8 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 3,700 in September to 4,522,300.
