May Unemployment Rates Increase in Most NC Counties

<p>In May, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 77 of North Carolina&#39;s 100 counties.</p>

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 77 of North Carolina's 100 counties in May. Fifty-seven counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 4.5 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which increased 0.1 of a percentage point from the April revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates increased in 13 of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
