December Unemployment Rates Increase in Most NC Counties

<p>In December, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 55 of North Carolina&#39;s 100 counties.</p>

Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates increased in 55 of North Carolina's 100 counties in December. Fifty-seven counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 6.0 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which remained unchanged from the November revised unemployment rate.

Unemployment rates decreased in seven of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
