NC’s September Unemployment Rate Increases

<p>North Carolina&#39;s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 0.8 of a percentage point to 7.3 percent from August&rsquo;s revised rate of 6.5 percent.</p>

North Carolina's unemployment rate grew 0.8 of a percentage point from the revised August rate of 6.5 percent. This is 0.6 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 7.9 percent.

Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 48,100 in September to 4,316,200.
