One North Carolina Small Business Grants Go To 40 Companies

Governor Pat McCrory announced today that promising North Carolina technology firms are moving closer to their next stage of growth thanks to grant awards from the One North Carolina Small Business Fund. In 2015-16, 40 companies across 16 communities received awards from the fund, totaling $1.95 million in grants.

Innovation Grants Total Nearly $545,000 for 11 North Carolina Businesses

, N.C.— Innovation grants will assist 11 North Carolina companies in bringing cutting-edge products to the marketplace. Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary John E. Skvarla III announced the latest round of One North Carolina Small Business Fund recipients today along with awards totaling $544,967.


“North Carolina faces tremendous competition from other states who want our budding high-growth, high-wage companies,” said Governor McCrory. “These grants help keep North Carolina in the race for our next home-grown success story.”

Innovation Grants for 13 North Carolina Businesses Total Nearly $611,000

Raleigh, N.C. -New innovation grants will assist 13 North Carolina companies in bringing new, cutting-edge products to the marketplace.  Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary John E. Skvarla, III announced the One North Carolina Small Business Fund recipients today along with awards totaling $610,997.


The recipients are developing products that would be used primarily in the fields of medicine and technology.
