Purpose:
To rescind Policy Statement PS 20-2015 Refocused Roles and Responsibilities of Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) Staff and refer staff to Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG) Primer.
This Operational Guidance and the procedures herein supersede all previous policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding Refocused Roles and Responsibilities of SG Staff.

Staff can find guidance about JVSG Roles and Responsibilities on the National Veterans Training Institute website. (NVTI) NVTI-Resources-JVSG New Hire Resources.. The Primer covers the roles and responsibilities of the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program (DVOP), Local Veteran Employment Representative (LVER), and Consolidated position (LVER/DVOP). Roles and responsibilities are also incorporated into the North Carolina JVSG State Plan, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) State Plan, and the following Veteran Program Letters (VPL): 03-14, Change 1 and Change 2, and VPL 01-20.
