Skvarla III and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) announced today that National Spinning Co., Inc. will be expanding its facilities in North Carolina and creating 50 new jobs over the next three years. The company plans to invest $1.5 million in the town of Beulaville over the same period.

Skvarla III and the Economic Development Partnership of N.C. announced today that White Oak Carpet Mills, LLC, a division of CAP Carpet, Inc. based in Wichita, Kansas is expanding its operations in Rutherford County and plans to create 40 new jobs over the next three years. The company plans to invest $4.1 million in the town of Spindale over the same period.
More people in North Carolina will receive help preparing for jobs in high-demand occupations, thanks to a $5.25 million federal grant awarded to the state. The money will be used to create and implement a new program called NCWorks Certified Career Pathways.

North Carolina Commerce Secretary John E. Skvarla, III and Assistant Secretary for Rural Development Dr. Patricia Mitchell announced today that the N.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) approved 16 grants or loans totaling more than $6.0 million with the commitment of 1,331 new jobs.
