These documents support the development of North Carolina's upcoming Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI), a public process that leads to a final report to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The AI report will help North Carolina document that the state has:

• Reviewed our policies and practices,
• Identified any barriers to housing choice, and
• Set forth a Fair Housing Action Plan to expand choice for people in these protected classes.
